Balaena et Chelonia

Balaena et Chelonia, written for Kaitlin Miller and Faith Ann Santucci, takes inspiration from how just as the whale needs to break the surface to take a breath, so does the flutist to make their music come alive. As turtles ride the ocean currents, so does the harp facilitate a stream on which the flute can glide.
